Your Roots? With a father who was a composer and mother who still sings, music has been with Jalyn since birth; his name alone means “harmony.” Singing and performing since the age of two, Jalyn’s ability to communicate through music has continued to sharpen throughout his career.

Biggest Musical Influences? Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, ATCQ, Pat Metheny, Steely Dan, MJ and Radiohead, just to name a few.

Worked With/For? K-OS, The Washington Projects, Jazzanova, Kanye West, Maroon 5, John Legend and others grace his remix production portfolio and have afforded him much-deserved press. Jalyn has gone from digging in his siblings’ record crates to remixing tracks, collaborating and embracing production full-time these days. His soundtrack for the film “Can’t Let Go” for indie filmmaker Shandra McDonald, was composed with original tracks and Music By Jalyn.
